FRAMING: We have our own framing studio. That means we can offer you quality professional framing at very competitive prices.
MUSEUM QUALITY FRAMING: Our museum quality framing is custom for each print. We custom make each wood frame and utilize acid free mats and mount boards to prevent print acid burn that will yellow the artwork. Finished frame sizes can be estimated by adding approximately 7 inches to each dimension of the image size.
MUSEUM MOUNTING: In conventional mountings the print is bonded to a mounting board before the mat(s) are affixed. Museum mounting utilizes a system of “hinges” and corner mounts that preserve the print in its original condition. With Museum mounting, the print can be removed from the frame and separated from the mat at any time leaving no evidence that it had ever been framed. Available for an extra charge.
MATS and FRAMES: Mats are selected by our Framer to complement key colors in each image. Frames are chosen which produce a quality presentation overall. Deviations from the Framer’s choices are available by special request. Please contact us with any questions or special preferences.
